Angelsey August Bank Holiday 23

August Bank holiday 2023 some members of the Bradford Sub Aqua club traveled  to Treardour  Bay in Angelsey where they enjoyed diving and Snorkelling on the Welsh coast.

Mick,Max, Harley, Colin and David had the first dive  at Porth Dafarch Beach on the Friday afternoon, this was Harley's first open water dive enabling him to sort his equipment and weights.

Saturday saw the arrival of Michael, Peter, Wojtek, Natasha, and Dominika due to the tide times we could only dive in the afternoon so we met at cable bay (Porth Trecastell) just before full tide.

Natasha and Wojtek completed their first Open Water dive and both were very excited  telling of what they had seen.

Following the dive Dominika,  Natasha, Harley  did some snorkelling around the rocks along the bay. As some members only came for the day or one evening they went home.

The rest of the members and their families enjoyed a great evening meal at the Sea Shanty restaurant in Treardour

On the Sunday morning Harley, Max, Natasha, Wojtek, David and Mick did another dive at Cable Bay followed by Snorkeling  in the afternoon.

Again on the evening we all met up for a Wholesome dinner in Holyhead.

Following a promise by Wojtek to go swimming in his trunks we all met up  on the Monday morning at Porth Castell beach Max, Natasha and Dominika took to the water with Wojtek wishing he had not said he would go in. After some ribbing he eventually went in and then enjoyed a good 30mins swimming around the bay.

This was a very exciting time for the new members all had a great time  and said they cannot wait for the next open water dive.
