If you haven’t dived before we can teach you how to dive, from a beginner in the pool, through all of the BSAC levels of qualification starting at Ocean Diver to Sports Diver, Dive Leader and Advanced Diver. Training for all grades up to and including BSAC Advanced Diver is free to members and run by our Nationally Qualified Instructors.

If you’d like to find out more about training with us, visit our contacts page and get in touch!

If you are a trained diver, come and join us. It doesn’t matter what agency you have trained with, you are welcome to join Bradford Sub-Aqua Club, Your existing qualifications will be recognised by the British Sub-Aqua Club.

We have a large fully committed team of instructors who will guide you every step of the way. If you are not sure if Scuba Diving is for you then why not take a Try Dive first?

Once you have decided you want to become a qualified Scuba Diver then you will go through a series of Theory lessons and pool sessions.  This will teach you all the basics that are required to allow you to practise your skills. From there you will learn how to dive in open water using all the skills you learnt in the pool. You will need to complete five open water dives after completing the theory test and pool lessons to qualify as a Ocean diver.

During your initial training, all equipment is provided by the club as part of the course. The only item you will need to provide for your  open water dives is a dry suit as these need to fit correctly.

You can either provide your own or you can hire one from Otter watersports at a small cost (discounted for club members).
